This feels like a particularly heavy time to be sending emails, so I tried to keep things short and to the point, but I do have a few important clinic updates that I need to tell people about, including a price increase on March 1 and a few new appointment offerings for current patients. I also included a few helpful resources, too - check out the podcasts and links below!
In this email, you'll find:
- A few quick clinic updates
- Info on a new mini-class, Goals That Stick
- Links to the most recent podcasts, including one on burnout
I also wanted to share a link to a new page on my website called Minnesota Resources, which features links to organizations you can support that are fighting what is happening in Minnesota (and around the US), as well as useful readings, self-care practices, free protest posters, and activities you can participate in, too. I'll continue to add more links as I find them, and if you have any resources you'd like me to include, please send them my way too!
Take care,
Kate Thomas, LAc
P.S. If you've recently visited the clinic, I'd appreciate it if you could take a minute to leave a Google review! Google reviews make a huge difference for small businesses - it helps businesses show up when someone searches. If you've already left a review, thank you so much!

- To learn more about new offerings and an appointment price increase effective March 1, 2026, check out this blog entry.
- To help save you a bit of money, I offer Memberships (2+ appointments per month) and packages of 5 appointments! Any packages purchased before the price increase will continue to hold their value, so this can be a good way to get the current discount for a little while longer.
- I'm now offering a 75-minute Acupuncture + Coaching appointment for current patients! This longer appointment allows us more time to discuss your health goals and dive deeper into Chinese medicine practices. Learn about my appointment times here!

Your opponents would love you to believe that it’s hopeless, that you have no power, that there’s no reason to act, that you can’t win. Hope is a gift you don’t have to surrender, a power you don’t have to throw away. And though hope can be an act of defiance, defiance isn’t enough reason to hope. But there are good reasons.
- Rebecca Solnit, Grounds for Hope
You can read the rest of her essay for free here! I highly recommend it. It is one of the readings linked on my Minnesota page - click here for more.
